3. Has anyone else taken this course before and passed the NY Bar Exam?

Yes! And with great success! But donft just take our word for it - here is what Colin Moodie, who successfully completed our course and passed the NY Bar Exam in 2007, has to say:

gThe Bar Review course provided by LEC supplied me with all the materials I needed to prepare for the NY Bar Exam. What was particularly helpful for me was that the videos were on DVDs that I could watch at my own pace and as many times as I pleased. This was instrumental in my success as it allowed me to pause and rewind the videos, enabling me to get the most out of each video.
gThe key to my success was careful review of the video lectures along with working though a ton of practice questions under simulated test conditions. I watched all the videos within the first month of studying, leaving me with three weeks to do nothing but practices essays and multi-state exam questions.
gEveryone studies differently, so it is important that you understand the way in which you study best and stick with that method. The test is one of the hardest given in the U.S., and the volume of information you need to know is enormous. However, more than anything else, this test is testing whether you understand the question being asked of you. Thus, English comprehension is essential to success. When going over example essays and multiple-choice questions, keep a keen eye out for how the question is being asked, not just what the question is asking. The Bar Examiners love to give trick questions, and the easiest way to trick somebody is by asking an easy question using awkward or difficult wording.
gThank you LEC!h
